Daylight Savings When?
Thank you, Internet, for letting me know that we jumped an hour ahead this morning! I had honestly forgotten all about Daylight Savings Time. I was up an hour early anyway, so I don't feel effected that much. Why was I up early? Let's just say that it wasn't even 10 pm when I hit the sack last night. I caught one of the bugs that's been going around and am thrilled that it decided to bite during the weekend (please note the sarcasm!) ;)
I tinkered with an old drawing I did in Paint (oh how I used to love that program!). I started a redraw of it, but since I'm not interested in elves anymore, I don't know if my dissatisfaction with it is based purely on my disinterest in the genre or not. The new one originally had a similar background, but it didn't look right, so I went for something simple.

New!
Old!
The Burpleberry Newsstand
Mr. Burple Berry successfully completed his second Fiction Friday on Twitter and has been last sighted with a remote, flicking through Earth channels. Word has it that he can't find anything to watch. He is excited about the upcoming Earth holiday, St. Patrick's Day, and was delighted when he found out that this week's prompt is "green." He looks forward to seeing you on the 15th!
Last week's story (the prompt was "meteor"):
Sparkling in the crater it left, the celestial rock waits. A pair
of small hands reaches out with a box. A smile whispers, “$100 on Ebay!”
