Club High Castle Pre-Pandemic

It's nearing the close of April. We are almost 5 months into 2012 now, and it is looking to be a good year so far. I'm still trying to find the perfect schedule for my illustrations so that I can complete this project in a timely manner. I've finished 7 so far (yes, I know I need to update my little counter!).  I have an extra day off coming in May (in addition to Memorial Day) that I plan to use wisely. The last time I had a scheduled day off, I finished 2 illustrations in one day! I cannot wait until I'm ready to scan and format my project. It will be worth all the hard work to finally hold my own, illustrated children's book in my hands! Well, it’s a bit into April now…I’m late! Oh noes! March began with an art trade. I must say that I am enjoying the art trades! The friend wrote me a fun, short story in return. I completed one illustration…I wish I would have done more, but I think I had burnt myself out in February on them. I need to find a happy medium that won’t burn me out, but still allows me to keep up a decent pace. My goal for April is to complete two illustrations because one per month is just a snail crawl pace that I don’t want to repeat!
