I hope you enjoyed my High Castle fan tale, The Prathra Project Files —It was a rare opportunity for fun! I don’t know if I’ll be able to come up with something like that again. A lot of work was involved in creating that, but it was all a labor of love. I cannot wait to see what Season 3 has in store for us. ★ ★ ★ ★ The Man in the High Castle  rekindled my interest in WWII. My paternal grandfather (a good man and a shining example of the Greatest Generation) joined the Navy during WWII and served aboard a ship in the Pacific. On a whim one haunting night in October, I googled his ship. I saved the few black and white photos of it I could find (including a wonderful shot of the crew) and had them printed. On Veteran's Day, I hung a framed dedication to him in the living room. After I stepped back and gazed at his black and white face, I decided I wanted to learn more about his time during WWII. Fan Castle Sunday: The Beginning of the End

The Beginning of the End It’s been an amazing journey The finale to Amazon’s The Man in the High Castle is just 5 days away. Yes, I am emotional, and yes, there may have been a tear or two while typing this post up. As everyone knows, this show has been a huge part of my life since the beginning. I just want to say that it has been an amazing journey of friendship, art, and blossoming into a better me. I remember the cold, snowy day in February when they announced that Season 4 will be the finale. Part of me was shocked and saddened, but the other part was thankful that TMITHC wouldn’t go the prolonged, dragged out route that so many shows in the past have gone. To be honest, I am glad they aren’t going to grind the show into the ground like that--It’s a bittersweet feeling.  I just want to say thank you to everyone I’ve met on this journey. I’ll cherish the memories TMITHC has given me forever. <3 With Season 4 airing on the 15th, there will be no #FanC...

top 10 High Castle Characters

With Amazon’s The Man in the High Castle finale dropping two months ago, I thought it would be fun to sit down and figure out who my favorite characters have been across all four seasons. It was not easy narrowing them down to just ten, but I somehow managed to do it. Without further adieu, my top ten #HighCastle characters! Honorable Mentions  Admiral Inokuchi & the Crown Princess - I adored their practical, yet humane, approach to everything.  Juliana - Her curiosity and determination to solve the mystery about the films and her sister's death in Season 1 captivated me and forever turned me into a fan of the show.  10. Joe Blake - One of my favorite scenes throughout the series is when Joe discovers his past. His gut wrenching reaction and how he eventually swore loyalty to his father made the character all the more interesting for me, so he has earned his place in my top ten! 9.
